Baljit is the CEO of Inventive Sports, a global sports company whose ethos is to promote future champions across the world. Through his consultancy activities he has built up a strong network across the sports industry. In 2012 he founded and delivered the inaugural Asian Football Awards at Wembley Stadium with support from the FA. He brought the Asians in football issue into mainstream media with the success of the 2nd Asian Football Awards in 2013. In 2014, he brought his concept of The Asian Cricket Awards to life, hosted at Lord’s in association with the ECB. He is continuing his quest by heading both the Asian Football Awards and Asian Cricket Awards in 2015. Both of these awards have been designed to reward and recognise inspirational individuals who are paving the way for future generations of Asians in sport.

His business and entrepreneurial acumen has seen him build Inventive Sports from strength to strength. The company is now working globally as a specialist in sports consultancy and representation – with offices in London, Mumbai and Delhi. Baljit provides consultancy services on the emerging Indian Football market to top tier clubs across Europe. He is a football player’s agent licensed by the English FA and a FIFA licensed match agent. He has spearheaded Inventive Sports into emerging as the agency of choice for international clients wishing to participate in the recently formed Indian Super League.

Baljit Rihal on The Asian Football Awards – “The Asian Football Awards have been created to recognise and reward Asians in football in the UK. We aim to provide a platform for Asians to promote their skills whilst also showing the footballing world that coaches, volunteers, players, administrators and fans are Asians who simply love the game.”
